375 cc vs 405cc

I went to my initial consultation today & tried a few options for sizers & found the smooth moderate 375 silicone was what I really liked. However, the Dr. advised I size up as the sizer sits out more than it would under the skin, which makes sense. However, the next size up was 405 & I had that sizer on & it seemed too big. I would like to accomplish the 375 look but worried if I go up it might be too big. Has anyone had the same thing? Which size? Go with what looks good or size up as per Dr.?
