Need advice on sleeping positions after surgery!!

Hello all!! I am having my surgery done next week and I wanted to know that when I get home will I be able to sleep in my bed or will I need to sleep upright. I have a lazy boy in my family room and was wondering if I should move it into my bedroom if I needed to sleep upright.
