Hi All-I have an appointment for a breast reduction consultation on Tuesday September 8th. I am super excited and nervous at the same time.My breasts are about a 42G and I weigh about 280.My primary physician has been ultra supportive and has made sure to properly document all of my chronic back/neck pain, physical therapy etc.I know Aetna will cover the procedure 100% IF there is a medical need. So i'm not worried about the cost(The company I work for has an AMAZING health care/dental package)I've read some posts that mention that Aetna will cover as long as 750g or more are removed. I also read an article that most times, depending on who calls from your doctors office-they will get a pre-auth the same day. You all may laugh, but if they want to take them off to a C cup, I'd be grateful. I've had big boobs all my life. My doctor told me that the older I get, the more I run the risk of being hunched back. Not cute! Does anyone have Aetna? What was your experience? Any info you can give, will be appreciated.
