Quick History

I will include photos of my hair journey so far, but I am now a 31 year old male, I had my 1st transplant at 29. I noticed a my hair loss at 27 and ever since I started finasteride as my main hair therapy. 8 months ago I started minoxidil topical for the 1st time and 2 months ago I made the switch to oral minoxidil because I heard the results were better.(Currently my beard is growing wildly in areas it's never grown before.).

Current Hair

Right now my edges have hair but I can't tell if the transplant failed, or if I just need a 2nd transplant to get fuller coverage. However searching blankly on the internet gives me varying results. Also the case for my hair is strange. I haven't seen others like me in normal searches. My forlock stopped growing the same speed as the rest of my hair many years ago, and as my hair got to longer, it would make an almost elongated horseshoe shape with a poof of hair in front that was shorter than the rest.

But when I consulted with my transplant surgeon about platelet rich shots to increase cell growth he said none of those things really worked, and that I should focus on my medical therapy, moisturizing the scalp and bed rest.

Questions
-I just don't understand where to go, or what to do for the best results. Do I have an underlying inflammatory disease that attacks my hair follices but only in the front?

-Did I not rest correctly during the healing phase and 3 weeks wasn't long enough to heal before going back to the gym?

- Was my hair texture more difficult for the clinic to work on so I needed a Doctor with my Carribean and Coily hair experience?

I guess those are the questions I want to try an answer here from professionals. What's going on with my head and why does it still look bad?

The final photo is just to show how long my hair has come under the right conditions it can look nice and full, however the middle of my hair grows faster and fuller than the new edges.
