Have anyone's eyelids looked like this right after bleph?

I am 46 yr old, 8 days post op bleph and light co2 around eyes. Dr said he was using self dissolving stitches but never said anything about a liquid bandage type covering. I was not given any cleaning instructions, only to keep antibiotic ointment on them till 2 week checkup. There was blood caked on so I did clean with diluted hydrogen peroxide just 2 or 3 times. Now my lids are covered with a yellow, goopy film that is peeling up in some areas. Some of it has already come off while I was applying ointment and in a few places in hurts where the edge of it flips up around the stitch line. It reminds me of skin or liquid bandage. But am I supposed to try to get this stuff off, or just keep applying ointment over it for 2 weeks? It looks gross!!! I called dr office twice today, even had them paged one time through the after hours service (This was during regular office hours, just trying to get someone to answer the phone!), but no one called me back. I just want to make sure this isn't causing an infection or making swelling worse. Also concerned about scarring. Help!
