I am almost 3 weeks post op after breast reduction. Everything is healing very well, but I have areola necrosis on the left side. I have confidence that my surgeon is dealing with the issue correctly, but I am looking for support from someone who has dealt with this personally. It is pretty nasty, scary looking and I tend to start to freak out in my head! Currently I am putting silvadene cream on it twice a day. Any stories or tips will be helpful. Did anyone experience any pain with this? How long did it take you to heal? Thank you.
