Binder for how long?

Hey ladies, hope you are all doing well. Does anyone know how long we should wear binders and should they be worn 24/7? I had 2nd follow up yesterday and stitches out if tummy button which was good. And did a few very gentle exercises. And went to the pub in the evening so it was a good day! Tummy button still v red but main incision looking really good except for possible dog ear at left hand end. Feels a bit weird there. Surgeon said they take any dog ears off under local anaesthetic so we'll see! Next review in one week.
