Five months ago, I received Botox injections in my forehead
and crow’s feet from a plastic surgeon, and it’s been a nightmare since. Around
day eight, I noticed dark circles under my eyes and sagging cheeks, which
alarmed me enough to visit the ER, suspecting a serious medical issue.
Bloodwork ruled out health problems. I also developed dry eyes and under-eye
puffiness. The plastic surgeon dismissed my concerns, suggesting allergies and
recommending an allergist, but my GP disagreed, noting I’ve never had allergy
symptoms. Prescription allergy meds made no difference. The dry eyes and
puffiness have resolved with daily lymphatic massages, but I still have severe
hollowing around my eyes and sagging cheeks, causing a downturned mouth. I’m
devastated every time I look in the mirror. I suspect the injector went too
deep, possibly affecting my zygomaticus muscles, and had me smile instead of
squint during crow’s feet injections. My crow’s feet have returned, indicating
the Botox is wearing off, but I’m desperate to restore my face. Has anyone
experienced or resolved this?
