I recently visited my doctor for Botox to treat my crow's feet. During the appointment, I inquired about the best way to address a slight mid-cheek groove, and the doctor suggested injecting Botox into that area. He assured me that this would relax the muscle and potentially eliminate the line. If the Botox didn’t work, he mentioned we could consider fillers later.
I decided to proceed with his recommendation, but after returning home, I conducted further research. I discovered that injecting Botox in the mid-cheek area might not be appropriate, as it could freeze and flatten my high cheekbones and potentially invert my smile, which I love. This information has left me feeling anxious and scared about the results.
Could anyone provide advice on what steps I should take next? Should I reach out to my doctor for a follow-up or seek a second opinion? Thank you.
