I had braces as a teenager and always wore my retainer except until a few years ago my landlords dog ate it. So I haven’t worn a retainer but it looks like I have a bit of a cross bite. I did use rubber bands in my original braces but it was always like this even after I got them taken off. I feel like it has also contributed to a bit of my facial asymmetry. Would any of you recommend getting another round of braces to fix this? Or jaw surgery? Or is that just redundant at this point? Thanks.
