To make a really long story short, I had revision surgery done in December 2014 to correct severe rippling medially in both breast post breast reconstruction tissue expanderexchange. I had my Mentor 475 round smooth silicone implants replaced with Mentor525 cc "gummy bear" implants with Alloderm. These new gummy bear implantssupposedly have a 1 percent ripple rate, but yet here I am with rippling. While one breast is perfect, the other is still having rippling medially. I am not expecting perfection and am even proud of my mastectomy scars as it means I beat cancer. However, having rippling medially is not acceptable as it cannot be hidden in a bra. We can put a man on the moon, yet I can't seem to be able to get a normal looking boob. While I loved my PS that I have been with for the past year, I have now lost faith considering the revision surgey didn't work. I know my options are severely limited, but if anyone has had problems with rippling and can recommend a PS in the New York/Long Island area, please let me know.
