Cheek drop question and recovery

More about Botox

I have seen where other people have suffered from cheek drop after Botox. Has anyone ever recovered from that? It doesn't seem possible to me that it could happen. It seems like if the muscle is weakened enough to drop the fat pad, that once strengthened, it won't automatically return to normal. I mean, how does it know how to lift it back up? It seems like once it sags, it's done, like broken tension in a cord or something like that. I know I'm not explaining it well, but I'm growing very depressed at the thought that that might be permanent, even after the Botox wears off completely. (I'm about 9 weeks in.) I would love to hear from other people who have recovered or who are currently in this situation.
