Coobie Bra Question on size.

Hi, ladies.  Getting ready for my surgery and I wanted to order a few Coobie bras.  Loved the reviews on here.  BUT:  What size to go with?  The regular size says it fits most people.  I am currently a 36D, but expect I will be closer to a 36DD after I get my boobies done.  Do I go with the bigger size option or stay with the regular to get a bit of compression out of them as well?  Spending so much on garments, supplies, surgery, I don't want to waste money on too many bras that won't work.  Thanks in advance!!
