Hi background ive been getting my eyebrows tattooed since 2006. My eyebrows were fine but I was a young girl and it was the thing to do. The lady did the same shape regardless of the natural shape of the eyebrows. Since then ive tried to grow them out l but it looks weird so I have to pluck the tail end off. After a while I let them go for a good 8 years and they turned pink so I got them lasered and they turn brown again. It got me through until 2016 when I started microblading them. It worked out fine until the last time in January 2019 they got infected by trying the dry healing process no ointment did not get them wet. After that I was tired of it. I was really sad and I just wanted my real eyebrows to grow back all the way. I told my artist my concerns and she said we could work on correcting them to my natural shape. I guess that was the good thing about my infection... learning that i could get them corrected before I never thought to ask I thought i was stuck. This last time she really did a nice job. She said it would be a process with the correction of my shape and the camouflage of the previously infected area which I understand. While im excited that the shape is already changed and my real eyebrows have more room to grow im scared of the not getting them wet concept. I decided to follow Tina Davies and wash them because I'm really scared of another infection. It was horrible and im also a picker. What do you guys think about the wet healing vs dry. My healing experience felt better I just hope the eyebrows take really good. Today is day 7. Looking for other ladies going through something similar to discuss.
