I am 3 weeks post op. New to the forum but very happy I found it. Reading other experiences definitely helps me feel much better and not alone. Still feeling tired and very anxious all the time. I want to start doing normal things again but I am very limited due to the pain I feel. My left breast seems to be healing nicely on the incision right below the nipple. I still have tapes around the nipple and under the breast. The right breast also has tapes still around the nipple and under the breast but the incision right below the nipple looks almost gross. It's scabby looking(brownish and hard). I almost feel like it could be infected but I don't have any fevers or any other symptom that could indicate that there is a sign of infection. Also, both breasts are kind of red just half way down from the nipple towards the bottom of the breast. They feel almost a little warm to the touch but not too hot. Is that normal? Has anyone else experienced that?
