Hello! I just started my Invisalign Express treatment 24 hrs ago. So far the pain from the aligners pressure is not too bad. But last night I had a birthday dinner and while I had the aligners out and was talking and eating really felt the attachments (and one way more than the rest) very pointy- almost felt sharp against my inner lip area. Felt that it was almost cutting my skin. I am worried that if this is only the first day, in few weeks I may really have a bad cut there. The only thing that made it better was putting the aligner back at the end of the dinner (which is obvious and also a great motivation not to have the aligners off for too long). Has any one experienced the same? Any tips?I was surprised (and not very happy) to have 12 attachments in total (6 upper, 6 lower), as my teeth are fairly straight but needed to fix some angles and lower crowding. Anyone else doing the Invisalign Express? That is the treatment recommended by the orthodontist, so I really hope 10 trays will help have that great smile :) So far no lisp noted, but lots of salivation! :)thanks for reading.
