Hi
I had volbella to teartrough 0.5 ml under each eye and botox to crows feet in December 2019. 10 days later I had malar edema, worse on right side where it was overfilled. Filler was dissolved in January 150 units of hyaluronidase 75 units under each eye using a cannula. Left eye a bit better but still some edema, right eye still bad. I had another 150 umits if hyaluronidase under right eye 1 week later and then another 150 units of hyaluronidase a week after that with no improvement. I waited until September due to lockdown to get 300 units of hyaluronidase under right eye which helped for a few days but edema still present. I have seen 3 oculoplastic surgeons. One thought it was due to botox and 2 thought it was filler complications. I am awaiting an appointment for an MRI to see if filler still present. One oculoplastic surgeon mentioned Endolift may be helpful. Endolift is a laser as fine as a hair placed under the skin which reduces fat and water depending on the problem area to be treated. There's no downtime or scarring as minimally invasive just like an injection. Has anyone received this treatment fir malar edema and was ut successful or did the edema return please? Im in the UK.
