i got scratched in the face by my cat 5 months ago. The scar does not seem to be changing. Just getting lighter. It's small but wide and therefore looks like a ugly, wide, visible cut in my face. It's on my cheek so it makes it worse bc it's incredibly hard to miss. I hate it so much and I have this intense feeling like if I could have just gotten stitches even glue stitches then it would be so thin it would be invisible now. Instead of what I'm going through. Therefore, I think I am a great candidate to have it removed surgical and then sutured together properly. Does anyone have any experience with having a scar cut out? How long did you wait to do it? Does anyone know a great plastic surgeon in Chicago?
