My teeth the top row are crowded which has caused my two front teeth to be bucked and slightly lay over the two teeth next to them. My Ortho told me at my consultation that he would not be extracting any of my top teeth and that he would file them in order to make room to allow them to be pushed back into place. He also told me that I would not be happy if he extracted a few of my top teeth as it would change my facial features and my face could appear sucken. This was OK with me because I would like to keep all my teeth if possible. But.. he did not file the teeth and I'm wondering how they moving at thus point. Even though its been close to a week I do feel that I have more space between them when I floss than before. So, I'm just wondering if anyone who has had to have their teeth filed had it done before tray 2? Also, he has me coming back in 3 weeks and not 2. I'm thinking that I need to call and see If I can get my #2 before 3 weeks and ask about the tooth filing because I don't want to be wasting any time.
