I just underwent a Fraxel Restore/Dual laser treatment and apparently it left me redder with a bit bruising than it should be. perhaps it's due to my skin that's prone to redness. my skintone is of Asian decent , fair - medium with yellowish undertone. The laser is for 2 shallow indented scars and it looks good now perhaps due to the swelling still. After a week, the lasered area peeled off leaving the redness. My doctor advises me next month to undergo a second treatment. I just feel this redness might stay for a month and from what I read it could take up to months to see the actual result of the laser. Would the subsequent laser treatment(s) might actually disrupt the ongoing healing process or perhaps for scar treatments those contionuous aggresive treatment(s) are needed? Do you guys really follow what the doctor advises or wait until couple of months for the actual end result?
