Hello!
I was born with a hemangioma that was very large and red in the center of my forehead. Doctors were convinced it would go away, and while it did lose its color and some size, a circular, elevated mark remained. Around 12 years old, a surgeon attempted to remove it. However, he was scared to ruin my face, from what I remember giving me an eyebrow lift or constant 'worry face', so there is still some mark left as well as a surgical line. Since this is on my forehead, this is one of my insecurities and I am ready to reduce the appearance as much as possible. I have had two doctors tell me they think a laser can remove it(however I was with them for different reasons so this was not something their office provided), but one doctor I reached out to about this issue said it would need further surgery followed by CO2 resurfacing. I am curious what you all think is my best option with the photo provided, and if there are any clinics in the LA area, specifically more toward the Westside, that think they can treat this issue. Of course, I know seeing it in person is the best way to decide on a treatment, but I am tired of aimlessly searching the internet for a solution.
Thank you!
