Forhead reduction gone wrong

More about Forehead Reduction

Hello everyone,

I had surgery in August 2023 involving hairline lowering and forehead reduction. Since the procedure, the top of my head has been completely numb, and there has been no improvement over the last 19 months. My doctor did not inform me that this numbness could be permanent, but now they are saying it may take a few years to recover.

Additionally, my forehead is now asymmetrical and much smaller than agreed upon. The incision was supposed to be in the hariline but evnetually has been tone 1cm lower than my hairline.

I’m really concerned about the lack of improvement in both sensation and the appearance of my forehead. What are the potential consequences of prolonged numbness in this area? Is it likely to recover? Are there any surgery options to help with the asymmetry and size of the forehead? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and insights.
