Hello I am 33 years old and have been researching Fraxel laser for the past month, after developing tiny scars in between my eyebrows. A Dermotologist left me with these scars while treating me. I'm really upset about these scars. No one seems to understand. Anyway, I have an appointment with a "top" dermitologist in NY. I am pretty sure that is what he will offer me one of the Fraxel lasers. I refuse to treat my full face, but wanted to JUST TREAT SCARS (3 tiny scars that are not deep). Is that possible? After reading how damaged eveyone is either immediately after or a years later I am terrified. I do not trust these people and machines with my face. I feel really uneasy about the face that so any have suffered.It seems that dermitologists are simply salesmen and do not care for the tragic repercussions. It doesn't even seem like they interested in skin and peoples issues. I feel terrible for everyone suffering. I am not even sure why I'm posting but I guess I need help, since I do not even trust "top doctors" and this forum is very supportive. Are my fears irrational? Is there anywhere or way to get true dermatological care? That's what I'm being told.
