Freaking out!

I am 8 days pre-op and wondering if I'm making the right decision. I am really scared. I'm reading all of your stories and it sounds like the first few days are rough but bearable. I guess I'm nervous about being "out" and I'm nervous about the recovery period. My husband will be caring for me weeks 1-2 but has to travel weeks 3-4. Any words to calm me down?   Thank you!!!
