I'm fully freaking out its to big its to dark and I hate it

Iv got 3 big tattoos and 1 small and love them to bits. Plus they all complement each other. Because of this I wanted more and always fancied a forearm tattoo. After years of saying I wanted one an opening finally arrived with a really fantastic artist. So I took it .he was running late the day I arrived and I was worried he wouldn't get it finished on time. So when He finally produced the design I thought it was good. All the staf around me kept complimenting it and getting all exited for me. Which made me feel better about it. When he started it looked big but seemed to fit well and after 6hrs he had to tell me he couldn't complet it that day and to contact him in 3/4 weeks to get it finished.As soon as I got home I looked at it properly in a big mirror and it was way to big. The view I had in the shop I could only see it from the front. But it's more the parts that go round my arm that bothers me. Plus it's so dark that it just looks like a massive black bloch on my arm. And then I took a proper look at the design on my arm and he had added more blood. On the mouth and eyes. It was way more subtle before and less of it on the original picture he showed me. I could have cried and felt sick to my stomach. And a day later I still feel the same. I hate the size the placement, how dark it looks and the design. In short I want it gone.If I go back in 4 weeks to get it finished it will look way better as he's still to add lots of detail to the face that will give it a more feminin look and take away from the evil mess iv got the now. But even tho it will look better I can never see me liking it. So been looking into removing it but it's just so big and dark. Would it even work? Would it leave a mess behind? Scaring? And if I do try and live with it I'd want it finished so it at least looks slightly better. But then if I still feel sick about it 6months down the line and decide to remove it that's more ink and more size to deal with.I feel sick, foolish, depressed and Embarrassed with it and iv not a clue what do
