I am looking for advice, info, stories, ANYTHING to help me make a decision on this life changing and expensive decision!I have lost 100 lbs, and have kept it off for three and a half years. I am SO ready to have my excess skin removed. I have seen five doctors so far, all with different opinions and suggestions as to what procedures I should have done. I have only felt 100% comfortable wih one doctor, but he doesn't perform the body lift at all. He recommended two doctors in the area that do, and I have met with one so far. The price is about average I guess, but he doesn't make any kind of guarantees and that scares me. Any revisions are done at my expense. I'm looking at about $20,000 for everything. This is NOT any little sum for my family and me. We are a middle class family and I have been home with my two kids for almost ten years until just recently when I started working VERY part time. We are sacrificing EVERYTHING financially to make this happen and I have this horrific fear that we will spend every red cent we have and I'll need revisions that I then won't be able to afford. I'm actually tearing up as I type this. I have been wanting this surgery since hitting my goal weight in 2011. PLEASE HELP! Thank you!
