I am a 27 yo female and I have had horizontal neck lines ("tech neck") for as long as I can remember. This really started to bother me about a year and a half so I began pursuing treatments for this concern. First, I had 2 rounds of Morpheus8, spaced 6 weeks apart, which seemed to have a very minimal impact, if any at all. I waited about 6 months and then decided to try Radiesse. I had two rounds of Radiesse injected into the neck (2 vials per session), spaced about 6 weeks apart. The second time the Radiesse was injected, I had a complication and ended up with "clumping" of the product under my skin, which required several rounds of saline injections, followed by one more round of RF microneedling to essentially "dissolve" the last bit of product. This was about 3 months ago.
Over the course of this past 1.5 years, I have also had regular microneedling on my face (about 3x) and have had them treat my neck as well. I have also been using 0.05% tretinoin on my face and neck 3x per week for the last 3 years. I wearsunscreen on my face/neck every day and take good care of my skin, so it has been disappointing to spend so much time and money with minimal results.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar issue and if you found anything that works for you. Is it possible that I need to lose weight in my neck area (even though I am not overweight)? Perhaps this is just something I will have to live with. Thank you in advance for your input!
