I recently had a rhinoplasty and the outcome has been devastating. There were a number of things I wish i knew before getting a Rhinoplasty, can people please add to this list.1. Make list of things you like about your nose and do not want changed, my doctor totally changed the best part of my nose.2. If you are a male, be sure you want a completely straight nose, it looks good on the morphed pictures, but in real life can look very fake / unnatural.3. Recovery is never as quick and as easy as your surgeon makes it out to be, I Still have residual bruising around the eyes 3 months post op, my sinuses now frequently flare up, I also get excruciating pain in my tip and inside the nose whenever I go out in the cold. Also my nose tip is much much bigger than it was before surgery and have been told this will take until nearly a year to shrink back to normal size, that is if it can shrink.4. Never trust a surgeon who doesn't show you before and after picture of similar types of patients to yourself 5. Do not have surgery on your tip, if you have thick skin.
