Hello everyone, i am in the first stage of researching lap band surgery and have a few questions and was hoping you could help. I am 27, weigh 135kg, am 5"10, live in Australia and have private health insurance which i can claim part of the surgery for.... How much in total inc surgery, before surgery requirements, diet and after surgery would the whole experience cost approximately? How often would you need check ups and adjustments after surgery? What if you have a pre existing condition such as ulcerative colitis, would you still be eligible for the surgery? What are the requirements before surgery and how long would you need to take off work? Thank you for your time.
