Latisse for male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia)

Allergan, the maker of Latisse is about to start clinical trials for male balding (androgenic alopecia).

According to their filing with the FDA, men from 16 to 64 will be recruited into 2 test groups

1: Experimental bimatoprost Formulation A

One mL dose applied evenly onto pre-specified balding area on scalp - single dose in the am followed by multiple doses daily in the am for 14 days

2: Experimental bimatoprost Formulation B

One mL dose applied evenly onto pre-specified balding area on scalp - single dose in the am, followed by multiple doses daily in the am for 14 days
