Hi I am Aysa , I live in Toronto but I am Turkish.
I am currently in Bolivia recovering from surgery, I
decided to come here because one of my best friends had his face and tummy done
here 5 years ago.
He chose a Medical Organization to organise his trip,
Makeover Travel.
I decided to schedule my trip with them due to his advice.
I contacted them as soon as I had some money to have
my procedures done, I didn’t want to have my surgery in Canada because it was
too expensive for me and my friend told me that Bolivia was an option for me if
I wanted to save money most of all because Bolivia wasn’t an expensive country
and he said that he felt in good hands since he arrived to Santa Cruz and more
after meeting his Surgeon Dr. Lijeron and the Clinic where his procedures were
performed.
The idea of using a company to organise all my medical
experience really seduced me and made me feel safer than just traveling to see
a Surgeon by myself, more listening to my friend´s experience and this is why I
decided to write a review to share a
little of my experience and point of view with you!
There are many companies around the world which organise
all kind of medical and dental trips, most of them have chosen the
professionals that work with them carefully as they need to offer a good
quality work.
Talking about me, I didn’t want to worry about anything,
I wanted to feel cared!
I could chose to pay just for the procedure but I didn’t
want to be worried about hotel, transportation or anything like that, I wanted
to have someone to be with me in case of any emergency, some who guide me
rather than just the Surgeon, because Surgeons are not always available for
their patients as they work a lot, so a company offers assistance in case you
have any question or in case you need anything and I think this is very
important when you are recovering, more if you are recovering in other country
than yours.
When I traveled here to Santa Cruz, a driver of the
company picked me up from the airport and take me to my hotel.My assistant called
me as soon as I arrived to confirm the time I was going to have my blood work
done and the time of my first Medical Consultation.When she arrived, I was so surprised to see that
beauty!!My assistant was a real model, beautiful!!But more than beautiful a
sweetheart!She made me feel confident since that moment so I wasn’t
really nervous about my surgery and about being there alone, I felt like with a
best friend or a sister because she was lovely!She went with me to have my EKG and my blood work done
and then once we had the results we went to see my Surgeon, Dr.Lijeron, a very
attractive guy by the way, very patient and very professional; we spent
together an hour and then we confirm I was going to have surgery the next day
at 8:00am.He gave me all the instructions I needed to follow to get ready and
then I pay to Bea,my assistant, my entire Plastic Surgery Package: 4990US$ for
Full Liposuction, TT and BBL.
Next day Bea went to pick me up at 7:00am and then she
stayed with me until the Dr. called me to the operation room.I felt very emotional
and cried a little bit, I had a mix of feelings, I was nervous, exited, etc but
as soon as I was under sedation I fall sleep and I wake up in the recovery
room.I spent there 3 hours and then I was sent to my VIP room
at the Hospital.I slept all the afternoon! I think was because of the
sedation and medication and the Surgeon came to see me in the evening and
checked that nurses were doing a good job. I slept the whole night and next day Bea went to pick
me up from the Hospital at 1:00pm, she took me to buy my medication, she
explained me the Surgeon´s prescription and this sweetheart made sure
everything was fine for me before leaving me at the hotel.That day I felt very sleepy so I arrived and I slept
until the evening, when felt hungry.Next day we went to see the Surgeon at 7:00pm, he looked at my scars and removed the drain he
left on my body in the surgery; I went back to the hotel feeling very happy because
even I was very swollen I saw already a very nice result!, I had curves like
when I was younger, I was so happy!I feel happy here at the hotel, everybody is friendly,
I am a little tired of the food but I am going to start eating outside now that
I can, because everything starts having the same taste to me. As the Hotel is located in a beautiful area, they told
me that is safe to walk around here, my friend who came here told me not to
worry about walking here either, so I think that today I am going to have lunch
in an Argentinian restaurant near the hotel.As you can see I am relating a whole experience in a
few words just so you can see the advantages and disadvantages of traveling
with a company to have a cosmetic procedure overseas.This is not for everyone but is definitely for
independent people who want to save money, people who want to have a very low
possibility of a bad result, people who want to visit a new country and a new
culture at the same time and people not afraid to be alone during all this
process. I go back on the 20th so In a couple of
days, I will let you know how I look and how I feel before my departure but my advice
is for sure to use a company if you decide to go abroad to have plastic
surgery, it doesn’t matter the country you choose!I feel very happy with everything so this is why I
decided to share my experience with you here in this wonderful forum!
