What are the best moisturizers to use after a phenol peel. I used aquaphor, but switched to vanicream, which “balls” and burns.

I had a phenol peel three weeks ago. I was using aquaphor but switched to vanicream. The vanicream doesn’t seem to penetrate. It “balls up” and burns. I’ve also tried cetaphil with similar results.
