My tummy tuck is 2/27. I try to plan out my prescribed pain medication schedule. My ps said every 4-6 hours as needed. The medication bottle said every 6 hours as needed. I am going to have Exparel. I don’t want to feel the pain then start taking pain medication. It may take some time for the medication to kick in. Do you think I should take prescribed pain medication the first 3 days round the clock every 6 hours then switch to Tylenol day 4? Any suggestions?
