I had about 3 months ago placed inside my mouth a costum chin and jaw implants. When I woke up my lower lip was fully drooping but in few weeks it got better but its still mostly paralyzed and not normal. I can not whistle like I used to or gargle water normally in my mouth whitout it pouring down. My lower lip over all is quite tight still as well compared to normal. My chin area is too still partly numb with some swelling.

I had also a small neck liposuction done as well witht these implants and this might have caused all of this at least whar I have read about it.

My surgeron told me he did not cut any nerves and everything went good wich I believe in. He told me in his experience this will usually resolve in a couple of months.

Im still not that worried once I have heard it can take several months up to a half a year to get the feeling back but im interested in your opinions about all of this?
