I have had seasonal allergies all my life. For some reason, just since I turned 40 my skin has decided it wants in on the allergy fun too, and I get constant bouts with eczema, most often on my eyelids. It got so bad this year I had to stop wearing all cosmetics. I haven't worn them in three months, only use eczema-approved cleansers and moisturizers, do frequent warm and cold compresses, use eye drops, and STILL sometimes get eczema on my lids.It strikes me that surgery on my eyelids could really set off a bad reaction. Has anyone else with eczema gone through the procedure that can speak to this? Thanks.
