Hello! I've had 2 surgeries done for unilateral (right) ptosis repair due to Horner's syndrome. The first attempt failed (lid didn't stay up + crease didn't heal correctly) and for the second surgery, the surgeon incised the original suture line, and sutured in a way to ensure my eyelid would crease, as it didn't the first surgery. I am 11 weeks post-op. I am happy with the eyelid height, but very unhappy with the height/depth of my crease and the apparent loss of my hooded eyes, which I have always had and loved. I have attached several pictures with makeup/no makeup, smiling or not. My questions for folks:
1) Is there any chance the crease will drop/become less pronounced with time? I know full healing can take 6-12 months. Looking for experience from anyone who has gone through a similar situation.
2) Should I just accept the result, or seek more opinions? I am hesitant to pursue any more surgery or even non-surgical options, but looking for experience of others...some days I'm OK to accept that this is my new quirky assymetrical face, and other days I am very depressed by it.
3) Any tips on how to do my makeup? It is weird having 1 hooded eye and 1 unhooded eye.
Thanks for any thoughts!
