Has anyone actually recovered from sensory nerve damage beyond 18 months

I'm hoping to connect with other women who have experienced long-term sensory nerve damage, improved and would love to find out if the tingling burning, pulling or numbness ever did resolve beyond 18 months after surgery.

In my case, I started healing relatively normally after my facelift, but I thought it was just a slow healer... Then at around the 6 to 7-month. Mark (when I understand scar tissue grows even more) I noticed greater tightness around my mouth and my eyes and increased pulling and burning sensation under my chin and neck.

It's quite disheartening as my doctor tells me she never experienced this sort of thing in the past. She told me she had two patients who took 18 months to recover.

My concern is that the trajectory of the pain started getting worse 6 to 7 months afterwards and is continuing to worsen. It's very frightening.

I am hoping to hear from someone who had a positive outcome just so I can have hope to carry on.
