Ladies I wanted to share my experience in DR. I had surgery with Dra. Duran on 7/1. Everything went great. She's awesome and treated me with care, took her time and was very meticulous with the procedure. I also used Dra. Belkis to do some minor touch ups to my lady part ;-) she's a gynecologist and works with Dra. Duran. it's much more youthful looking. I love it. I stayed at Armonia owned by Maira Checo. First of all let me begin by saying that I'm very picky and pretty high maintainance and expect quality from places that provide any type of service. When I arrived my roomwas not readily available as one of the girls stayed an extra day. So Mayra accommodated me in a 5-star hotel for the night and assumed all responsibility. The day after surgery I arrived to a clean and spacious room with my private bathroom. The foods is delicious. You get three meals and 2 snacks. There are nurses around the clock and they are very sweet, delicate, and understanding. And trust me when I say delicate as they where in charge or changing gauzes and because you are unable to shower, they literally clean you all over with wipes. There is also a doctor at night that checks on you. They provide transportation to all your appointments, massages, etc. The house is like a mini mansion. It's beautiful and peaceful, AC in each room and wi-fi. There's a terrace on the second floor that you can use and it's peaceful. I went with a companion and it was comfortable for her as well. We got along great with all the girls and Mayra makes sure if you have any concerns she's pretty quick to take you to the clinics on your request. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody that wants quality post-surgical care, cleanliness an attention. My understanding is that she will be opening a new VIP recovery house in the next 2 weeks that will be all inclusive, meaning that you pay 1 price and it includes meals, transportations, pick ups from airport, itinerary as to what will take place during your stay so you are not out of the loop, private room, massages, private doctor, private chef and private nurse staff will be FULLY BILINGUAL. It will be like home away from home. Space will be limited and it's in a gorgeous pent house, with security overlooking the ocean, te terrace is to die for, overlooking the city and the oceans, private bathroom in each room. I wish this would have been available for when I was there. Hopefully this is informative for those of you deciding on Armonia or still undecided about A recovery house. Sorry for the long post but I want to make sure you guys have all the info because when I got there I was a bit confused and apprehensive because it's a different country.
