Primary rhino decades ago. Consulted multiple docs over the years who won't touch my case since there is a lot to 'fix' aesthetically, coupled with some functional (breathing) issues as well. As I've been told, since the nose was done ages ago, it was "designed" in the style they did back then. Unfortunately, since I'm a guy that look has never suited me ... too small, wrong 'shape', too much removed, and could definitely benefit from an overhaul. Function and appearance has progressively declined over the years.
Already consulted (in person) two of the big names ... and one next week. (I'm not using their names as I am not looking to upset anyone.)
The differences in the consults and the details re: surgical approach left me scratching my head. What threw me the most was their digitally altered "after" pics. Each radically different from the other and neither one really hitting the major points discussed beforehand. So, I'm thinking ... now what? Is it acceptable/commonplace to reach back out to them and say ... Sorry, but can X, Y, and Z be adjusted on these images/and in surgery or not even possible? My aesthetic and theirs need to be more or less on the same page in advance; I'm not comfortable just 'discussing' this 10 min before surgery.
Any input would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding any who handle male revisions exceptionally well. I realize healing plays a major role in the outcome but I definitely someone who is on the same page from square one.
