I am just over 3 weeks post op. My right breast has a small hole about 1/4" in size where the areola incision meets the vertical incision. It is "wet" inside. I took a photo and emailed it to my PS's nurse, who told me to keep ointment on it and let it heal from the inside out. She said to cover that ointment with a bandaid or gauze so it wouldn't get my shirts or bras gooey. I also told her I was still "oozing" a bit of fluid under each breast, she was actually more concerned about that than the hole. Said to keep ointment on that area as well. Now right breast (same one as the areola hole) has a small 1/4" hole where that vertical meets the half circle incision. The oozy fluid is not clear, but not totally yellow and [RS bleep] either. I will call on Tuesday and go in if they need me to, but I'm scared. I have to leave town on a business trip on 9/8 and will be on my feet 12-14 hours per day for 3 solid days, and I'm nervous about this area being compromised, especially since I swell so much in the afternoons and evenings. Any experience with this?
