Spitting stitches?

I had my brachioplasty, with liposuction, with dissolvable stitches, on 6/7/16. It's five weeks after and I have spitting stitches and some areas that are weeping and open-ish. The nurse at my PS says its normal, anyone else having this issue?  Also I'm still wearing compression in the form of Marena sleeves.
