I had liposuction done on my abdomen and flanks 3 months ago. The swelling has definitely gone down, but there’s still puffiness and uneven areas, especially on my lower belly.
My surgeon told me swelling can last up to 6 months, but I’m worried this might be more than just swelling possibly fibrosis or scar tissue?
I’ve been wearing my compression garment as directed and also started light massage therapy recently.
Has anyone else experienced this type of lingering swelling? At what point should I consider revision or further treatment? I’d love to hear from people with similar experiences.
My goal is to have a smooth, natural-looking contour, and I’m okay waiting I just want to know if I’m on track.
