Telling friends, family, co-workers?

Hey BL/BA buddies! I just had a Benelli Lift and 550cc under the muscle implants on 7/11/2018. I have spent a lot of time on Real Self and online researching and connecting with other women going through the same procedures and I'm noticing a very common theme of women feeling unsupported or that they have to keep the procedure "secret"  from family and friends. I am curious and wanted to start a dialogue about this. How many of you didn't tell anyone for fear of judgement? How many DID share but got a negative reaction? It's really sad to me that so called "friends" and family can be so unsupportive! In 2018 you'd like to think everyone supports a persons right to total body autonomy. I did tell people. And overall I was very lucky to garner mostly positive responses. However, I work in Natural Medicine/Prenatal and Postpartum women's healthcare  and I did have one co-worker that said, "What kind of example are you setting for the Mothers you work with by putting implants in your body?!" "Uuuuuuum, I'm setting the same example I've always set... that it's okay to be a mother, and a Professional, and a devotee to health and wellness, and still want to connect to your own sexuality and look good naked. How is this body modification really any different than my tattoos which you find acceptable?"Anyway, Thank Goodness for Real Self where we can support each other!
