Is it true that hydrogel butt injections doesn't last forever?

I got hydrogel injections over a year 500cc, 250 in each cheek after doing my research I wish I never got them... Also reading up on them it says it isn't permanent it only last 18 months ... Well I hope so please help me I'm so nervous now
