I was in a car accident about 28 years ago and had emergency surgery- laparotomy which left a vertical scar from above my belly button to almost pubic area. I want to eventually have a tummy tuck but would love to hear if anyone else has had one after a laparotomy and any issues they may have had due to that previous surgery? Any problems with pre-existing internal scar tissue being compressed by muscle tightening of an abdominoplasty?
