Hello Everyone, I am going to Prague (im from the UK) for a TT with liposuction to hips and lower abdomen in 2 weeks time! im very nervous, i have been to the clinic before for other surgeries and they are great, and my doctor is great, im just nervous because iv never had anything done to my abdomen before, and i know that you use those muscles for everything. I am having surgery on 6th march, i will spend 2 nights in hospital and the i am flying home on the 8th, how will i be in the airport? will i be able to walk (hunched over i assume) and check in or will i be better getting a wheel chair to get around the airport? The reason i am having this surgery is because i have lost 17 stones almost (90kg) and i have loose skin on my tummy, another questions i have is about physical activity, I am having 2 weeks off work, after that i will return, i have a very easy desk job and my work are very relaxed and dont mind if i have a nap or whatever if i need to and i have no pressure on me at all ( i know dream job) but i am planning to go back to the gym after 3 or 4 weeks, just to do walking so that i keep in my routine, then after 6/7 weeks i would like to start back with running and some very light weight training. has anyone got any experiences of going back training and when? Also i would like to know about your swellings? i have not experienced much swelling from my previous surgeries (loose skin removal from breasts and arms) and i assume i will have a drain-less tummy tuck. Also at this stage its not clear whether i will have muscle repair until they get me open. I would also like any dietary tips for after the surgery, i dont want to get bloated, i do not eat carbs normally, but will fruit and veggies and eggs be ok? what painkillers did you use? i have Tramadol to use, did you guys take ibuprofen for the swelling? some websites say you can and others say you cant so im confused? Thanks all, i anticipate your replys!
