Should I wait the 3 weeks: Loose Crown

Yesterday afternoon I had my #7 & #10 crowns placed on my implants. These teeth were congenitally missing. About an hour after I left the prosthodontist's office my # 7 was moving back and fourth. They seen me today to determine if the issue was with the crown or the implant itself. The Dr. determined the crowns cement did not set properly and attempted to remove the crown so he could re-cement it. He was unsuccessful in this attempt and advised I wait 3 weeks to see if it will come out on it's own before he will cut off the crown and place a new one. I do not know if I can deal with a loose crown for 3 weeks, however my main concern is damage to my implant during this time frame. Is it normal to wait this out or should I have him remove the crown? I am terrified of something happening to the implant becuase of crown movement. Thank you.
