Hi! I’m a 40-year-old male, about 10 weeks post-op after liposuction to my abdomen/flanks (Lipo 360), chest, inner thighs, and outer thighs. Approximately 3.5 L was removed, and I also had Renuvion to the abdomen/flanks.
My recovery was complicated by postoperative anemia and significant fatigue, so I didn’t return to my normal activity or workouts until about 6 weeks post-op. I was also instructed not to restrict calories for the first 3 months to support healing.
I’m still visibly swollen and notice day-to-day fluctuations in the mirror. Today I weighed myself for the first time since surgery and was shocked to see I’m up 11 lb compared with my pre-op weight.
Has anyone else experienced this around the 10-week mark? Could persistent edema account for this much of a weight difference, or did your weight eventually come back down as the swelling resolved? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thank you!
