Im exactly 2 years post op this month from a septorhinoplasty. I have had my concerns since the bandages were taken off however I of course stuck it out and waited before really analyzing anything too much. Now at 2 years it is clear to me that there are (in my opinion) quite severe irregularities present in the frontal of my nose. Pre op, my septum was deviated, i had a hooked nose (almost like smooshed in) from previous injury, and some uneveness and bulbous cartilage at the tip. My nose is certainly more assymetrical from the front now regardless of the major improvement from the side. I would like to add that the side profile view of my nose is nearly perfect and there are no concerns with that. However, from the front, there are 3 major concerns I have.

1. what I suspect to be alar retraction of my right nostril. there is a notch, almost like a break/seperation in the cartilage where the nostril and the nose tip meet. The nostril plane Is subsequently uneven. I know this is something that can never be made perfect but I am very rational and I know that what's happened to my nose isn't normal.

2. On the same side as the retraction, though this is less visible, there is a sharp ridge along the side of my cartridge, that feels hard. I wonder if this could be scar tissue, however this was somehwat present since the removal of my cast. It creates quite the asymmetry and seems to be getting worse as time goes by. From certain angles (some included below) this ridge is very visible and looks out of place, especially since it is not present on the other side. There is sometimes even a dull sensation of pain when I touch it?

3. there is newly formed bump at the top of my bridge (pre op I never had a bump on my nose) and this I've been told is common and easily removed, and My surgeon told me he would fix this with only an anesthsia fee if it occurred. Although bothersome it is the least of my worries. it also doesnt seem to affect my profile but more so the 3/4 view, and i mostly see it in pictures where a shadow is making it look more prominent.

I see my doctor virtually again tomorrorow to discuss these concerns, however I don't know if I envision myself going back to him. I love the nose from the side and he seems to all around be a good rhinoplasty surgeon (many of his noses are perfect), however if anyone can offer me some advice or help determining what went wrong here, that would be beyond appreciated. Thank you :)
