I'm 62. I had a facelift on January 21 and ended up with a very black eye from it. I didn't know enough to ice it so it got pretty bad. It's been slowly slowly fading to red but for the last two days I don't see any improvement. It's very difficult to cover and I'm self conscious so I've been hiding out for 3 1/2 weeks. I'm feeling sick with worry that this is going to be permanent. Why is it taking so long to get better? Anytime I Google it I read that bruises disappear in two to three weeks. Have I permanently marred my face?
